Kimberly has more than ten years of experience in surgical and hospital coding, billing, and clinic management. Kimberly’s expertise comes from working in a range of healthcare settings including lead specialty coder, patient technician, and assistant clinic administrator. With multiple certifications including Professional Coder (CPC), Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Outpatient Coder (COC), Inpatient Coder (CIC), Orthopedic Surgery Coder (COSC), and Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC), Kimberly serves as a subject matter expert to PYA’s clients, advising them in CPT, ICD-10-CM, hospital outpatient, and physician Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding, billing, reimbursement, and auditing.

Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of North Texas and is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, Nashville Health Care Council, and Leadership Health Care.
