PYA Principal Michael Ramey joined McGuireWoods Partner Kristen McDermott Woodrum and McGuireWoods Associate Erin Dine for a webinar, “Private Equity Physician Deals: What Investors, Physicians and Hospitals Need to Know in 2022.”
They discussed emerging trends and innovative models related to healthcare private equity investments and transactions. Attendees learned more about the impact of private equity investments on other healthcare providers and how to structure a purposeful Management Services Organization. The webinar also covered the enhanced regulatory focus on investor-owned healthcare companies, causes of bad outcomes in deals, and affiliations between investor-owned healthcare entities and health systems.
The webinar took place on August 23, 2022, and was the latest in our “PYA Perspectives” series, in which experts from PYA and legal firms across the country join forces to provide clarity regarding the challenges healthcare providers face.
