On Friday afternoon, April 11, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the proposed 2026 Medicare payment rules. These proposed rules cover:

  • Skilled nursing facilities
  • Inpatient psychiatric and rehabilitation facilities
  • Hospices
