At the 51st annual Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) Meeting and Cancer Center Business Summit, March 5-7, Washington, D.C., two PYA executives will share thought leadership about oncology partnerships and affiliations. The national summit brings together individuals from all care delivery settings to explore solutions and perspectives on evolving cancer care at the convergence of business, policy, and technology.
On March 6, Principal Tynan Kugler, Senior Manager Marcy Cent, and co-panelists will present, “Strategic Oncology Partnerships and Affiliations,” a deep dive into today’s oncology partnership models. Kugler and Cent will be joined by Carla Sims, Associate Vice President, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist; Debbie Fernandez, Director of Quality, The University of Kansas Cancer Center; Jenny Scott, Executive Director, Oncology Service Line, The Christ Hospital Health Network; Lisa Serig, Senior Director of Operations, The University of Kansas Cancer Center; and Adria Warren, Partner, Foley & Lardner.
The panelists will share ways to align services valued by health systems, academic medical centers, and community cancer programs while assessing potential legal and regulatory considerations and implementation challenges and opportunities. Session attendees also will learn from case studies that describe existing partnerships and unique service offerings.
The ACCC comprises multidisciplinary cancer centers across the nation. It is a leading education and advocacy organization for the cancer care community.
