PYA Senior Manager Marcy Cent will be a guest speaker at the national Association of Cancer Executives (ACE) Annual Meeting on Feb. 4-6, 2024, in Nashville.
The 30th annual meeting brings together oncology administrators, oncologists, business operations managers, chief administrative officers, chief nursing officers, and other executives from across the nation to discuss best practices in the field of oncology.
Cent will present, “AMC and Community Cancer Center Integration—A One-Year Post-Merger Look Back,” on February 5. The presentation will focus on the merger of the University of Kansas Health System and Olathe Health and specifically the joining of their two cancer programs. Attendees will learn of the collaborative structure and implementation of the cancer programs’ merger, logistical challenges and how PYA served as an integration facilitator, and lessons learned one year after the merger. Cent will co-present with Jeff Wright, Senior Vice President of Cancer Services at the University of Kansas Cancer Center.
ACE provides leadership development for oncology executives to improve patient care.
