The PYA Nashville office has been named a Nashville Business Journal 2025 Best Place to Work. The annual award recognizes local employers who have created an outstanding workplace culture. The rankings are based on confidential surveys of employees that measure success in team dynamics, trust in leadership, and communication.
PYA has served a variety of clients in Middle Tennessee for 40 years and has continually reinvested in the dynamic Nashville market, including opening a Brentwood office more than 10 years ago. Since its opening, the office has tripled in size with plans for continued growth.
The PYA office is led by Shannon Sumner, Nashville Managing Principal and Firm Chief Compliance Officer, who received an NBJ 2024 Women of Influence Award. “We are a tight-knit team, who are focused on serving our clients with integrity,” Sumner said. “Our office stresses professional excellence and a culture where colleagues and clients feel valued and empowered. We’re honored that our dedication to client service, community involvement, and each other makes us a best place to work. We couldn’t agree more!”
Nominations for the NBJ Best Places to Work award are accepted from the public, and employees of nominated companies are then asked to complete an online survey conducted by Quantum Workplace.
“The employees in our Nashville office represent PYA’s values of quality service and radical responsiveness to our clients and the local community,” said Marty Brown, President and CEO. “Being named a Nashville best place to work is certainly well deserved. In fact, all of PYA’s locations across the country have unique personalities perfectly suited for their communities, making them all best places to work.”
